“Watch where you’re going! Stick to the path of truth, and the road will be safe and smooth before you.” (Prov. 4:26 TPT)
I read a review of a book written by Greg Reid entitled — “ Stickability: The Power of Perseverance. I was awesomely inspired by his thoughts on the concept of stickability. And as I meditate through the Scriptures, the concept makes more meaning to me. This is because stickability is the hallmark of every empowered triumphant saint. Jesus said, “Staying with it—that’s what God requires. Stay with it to the end. You won’t be sorry, and you’ll be saved.”( Matt.24:13 MSG)
Some people feel despondent, distracted, distressed, depressed and degraded on their journey to destiny and give up. This can be attributed to a number of reasons but summarized in lack of stamina or staying power. The Word of God says, “If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small.” (Prov.24:10)
In our spiritual journey to dominate here on earth and ultimately meet Christ face to face —and in our earthly journey to accomplish and scale our businesses, careers or personal goals or dreams —we must build spiritual and mental stamina or capacity.
I discovered from Scriptures and from experience that what or who you stick with determines what or who you stick to. Some stick with the wrong people or wrong beliefs, secular humanism or vain philosophies. While some stick with their human will and in turn fail or falter along the way. No wonder the wise man admonished thus —“Stick with wisdom and she will stick to you…”(Prov.4:6 TPT)
Therefore, we must embrace and stick with the wisdom of God as contained in His Word to build capacity or staying power for stickability. When you stick to the path of truth —your destiny blossoms and you’ll keep scaling greater heights till that perfect day.
Finally, wisdom commends us to the grace of God that builds up and in turn empowers us to continuously engage the vital forces of —work of faith; labor of love; and patience of hope. (Acts 20:32; 1 Thess.1:3)
I see the grace of God being multiplied for you as you walk in excellent wisdom.
To your stickability,
