BUY ONE, GET ALL FREE (BOGAF)

He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us ALL things?” (Roms.8:32 KJV) [Emphasis Mine]

Something interesting happened recently as I was about leaving a grocery store. One of the cashiers courteously asked me to check out a promotional poster pasted on the wall. I approached the notice and read about the promotion of a new brand of orange juice being introduced. The catch is that for any purchase made within a period of one month will be free. I quickly went for one bottle before the stock got exhausted. As they said, when I got to the check out counter it was actually free as a Very Important Customer (VIC) card holder.

One week after, I decided to try again to see if I will be able to enjoy the freebie since the one-month window was still open. Characteristic of a sales promotion, I was enticed for a repeat purchase only to be charged for my subsequent purchases.

Most of us, if not all, like freebies; and in every market economy, price fixers use promotional tools like coupons, freebies contests, loss leaders, point of purchase displays, premiums, prizes, product samples and rebates to influence the behavioral pattern of customers and prospects alike.

God as the Originator and Master Business Mentor is ever promoting the sales of His redemptive package to mankind. He said, “Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.” (Isaiah 55:1). Also, God promoting the Eternal Product of Truth and the its service offerings, admonished us thus: “Buy the truth, and sell it not…” (Prov.23:23)

Whilst other sales promotions have limitations, God’s own promotion is unlimited. He gives us an open cheque to draw from His inexhaustible, ever flowing resources. His own sales promotion requires that we buy only ONE product that guarantees every other resource that He owns – Buy One, Get All Free!

I was taught as a law student in philosophy class that ALL is a universal affirmation. When God says ALL, He means ALL. He said He will freely give us ALL things when we buy the truth of His Gospel which He wrought in Christ.

The interesting thing about God’s own economy is that it’s a moneyless economy. He said, “…, buy, and eat; come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.” (Is.55: 1b) It’s priceless! The price is fully paid by Jesus Christ – The Eternal Truth. What a sacrifice!

What then is the currency or legal tender in this Kingdom economy? Hear this loud and clear: Faith in Christ is the currency in this Kingdom economy. Therefore, faith in the Truth – Jesus the Anointed and the Word of God, is the currency for all kingdom free purchases. We live, interact, purchase or exchange by faith. It’s the only currency that pleasures God and attracts His rewards from the sales promotion. (Heb.10:38; 11:6)

Therefore, buying the truth of God’s Word with the currency of faith will give you unrestricted access to the ALL of God. I beseech you then, go and buy for yourself from those that sell, just like the five wise virgins advised the other five foolish virgins according to Matthew 25:9.

And as one of the sellers of the truth of this gospel, I implore you today, to buy from me by believing in the finished work of Christ and receive the free gift of ALL of God.
